Best Western Premier Accra Airport Hotel, a 4-Star luxurious Hotel and member of the Global Best Western brand is seeking the services of a well qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of a  Restaurant Manager.

Job Summary:
Under the general guidance and direction of the Food and Beverage Manager, the Restaurant Manager shall oversee the daily operations of our restaurant ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, profitability and health/safety.

Key Responsibilities:

The core responsibilities of this position are;

•   Overseeing the planning, organising and training necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, cost reduction, profit ability guest satifaction and food quality while upholding the Best Western standard and service quality
•   Manages all areas of the restaurant, ensuring the restaurant reaches and maintains its maximum potential
•   Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, complying with health and legal regulations.
•   Maintains guest satisfaction by monitoring evaluating, and auditing food , beverages and service offerings using guest feedback and initiating improvements.
•   Controls, cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
•   Assists food and beverages Manager in training restaurant staff as well as reviewing and reinforcing correct work procedures and habits
•   Promptly  responds to complaints, taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
•   Performs any other related duties that may be assigned.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management from a reputable university
•   A minimum of 5 years experience in a restaurant management
•   Considerable Knowledge in customer service, food and beverage operations
•   Possess basic financial skills and have ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
•   Knowledge in FDA/HACCP laws and standards
•   Customer and quality focus
•   Excellent communication skills
•   Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
•   Strong organisational and leadership abilities
•   Ability to work under pressure
