Weir Oil and Gas Division provides superior products and service solutions to Oil and Gas customers in upstream, production, transportation, refining and related industries. We are looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of:- Sales Engineer

Job Summary

•   Service existing clients and develop new business
•   Identify growth opportunities for product range
•   Proactive in seeking growth in all products
•   Provide technical assistance and after sales service to clients.
•   submit quotes and tenders as per the customer requests and requirements.
•   Follow up on quotations for orders from customers.
•   Expedite client's orders.
•   Gather market intelligence about customers, competitors, markets to help develop marketing and sales plans.
•   Observe all HSE and Housekeeping requirements at the branch

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Engineering degree
•   Must have worked in heavy industrial environment
•   Drivers Licence

Desired Qualifications

•   Sales and/or Marketing diploma Minimum Experience:
•   5 Years Technical sales experience including 2 years in process sales equipment.
•   Proven sales track record in engineering industry.
•   Experience in basic contract law, negotiation, terms and conditions.
•   Knowledge of Industrial manufacturing processes and experience in Oil & Gas/Power industries
•   Excellence in customer relations and achieving sales targets
•   International travel in Africa.
•   Fluency in French

Desired Experience

•   Experience in manufacturing
•   Exposure to process applications
•   Valves sales experience

Skills

•   Ability to plan sales calls and compile activity reports
•   Ability to work in a team environment
•   Ability to work under pressure
•   Customer Orientated
•   Good Communication skills
•   Be willing to travel extensively, work additional hours when required.
