Position: School Counsellor

We are currently seeking candidates for the position of School Counsellor.  This is a full time position at the school.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The School Counsellor works collaboratively with other Student Services Team members including members from the Boarding staff in the best interests of students.

The main purpose of the role of the School Counsellor is to utilize leadership, advocacy, and collaboration to promote student success, provide preventive services, and respond to identified students by implementing a comprehensive school counselling programme that addresses academic career, and personal/social development for all students.

Principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

•   Development and management of a comprehensive school counselling programme
•   Guidance curriculum
•   Individual student planning
•   Preventive and responsive services
•   System support
•   Accountability
•   College and Career

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Master’s Degree in school counselling
•   Relevant experience as a counsellor

Location: Gomoa Manso, Central Region
