			Job Vacancy For Security Superintendent
		
							
				
A multi-national mineral extracting company located in Ghana is seeking to employ a Security Superintendent to ensure quality delivery of Security Services that will protect company's assets for the purpose of business continuity.
This is a key role whose primary responsibility will involve supporting the day-to-day oversight and delivery of security on site, specifically the implementation and management of the security policy.
Major responsibilities include the following:
•   Develop, implement and manage the overall company security strategy and its associated architecture
•   Develop and implement policies, standards and guidelines related to corporate security
•   Liaise with government security agencies and conduct intelligence gathering on crime trends and update employees accordingly
•   Serve as the focal point for security events and emergency response planning and execution
•   Oversee the continuous monitoring and protection of company assets. Evaluate suspected security breaches and recommend corrective actions
•   Oversee the development and implementation of security awareness and training programme
•   Conduct security audits and submit report for consideration
•   Define and implement an ongoing risk assessment programme that will define, identify and classify critical assets, threats and vulnerabilities regarding the assets with protection measures
•   Conduct investigations and submit reports on security incidents
•   Supervise the training of security guards
•   Perform any other tasks
Qualification Required & Experience
•   A degree from a recognised tertiary institution with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience at a similar position or a minimum of ten (10) years Military / Police experience in a senior leadership role
•   A thorough knowledge of private security standards and procedures
•   Good written and oral command of the English language
•   Multinational cultural experience desirable
•   Excellent staff management skills
•   Good MS Office application knowledge
•   Must drive with a valid Ghanaian driving license
