A leading Telecommunications company, seeking to expand its operations in Ghana is looking for dynamic & results oriented professionals who are ready to make a difference in the areas of:- Senior Database Administrators

Responsibilities:

•   Administration and Maintenance of OSS, BSS and Corporate Databases
•   Perform database backup and export of the dump files
•   Create database object (tables, indexes and triggers) and write database procedures, functions and triggers
•   Tune database queries and monitor application related jobs / database repilication activities

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Minimum Of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic or Telecommunications Engineering or other related discipline
•   A Postgraduate degree or professional certificate in Telecommunication or Engineering Field will be ad added advantage
•   Industry certificate is also desirable
•   Minimum of 3 years working experience in database environment, preferably in the Telecommunication industry

Skills/Competencies Required

•   Good understanding of Database Administration and maintenance (Oracle and MSSQL)
•   Ability to work under pressure without losing concentration
•   Ability to write SQL scripts / Queries / Programs and Filters
•   Understand and implement database security requirements
