Job Summary:

Responsible for Trade Distribution Strategy Management, Trade Partner Development & Loyalty; Sales Operations; Sales/Trade Development and Go To Market Strategy Development.

Job Role Key Tasks:

• Responsible for Distribution Policy, Processes, Contracts and ensure Implementation and Control
• Provide Strategic Distributor Operations Guidelines & Annual Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to drive Commercial activities.
• Lead the development of strategies to ensure commercial stock availability and logistics across all channels
• Lead the development of strategies and programs to drive customer acquisition, channel growth, trade loyalty and product development.
• Lead the development of go to market models for new products and services
• Responsible for developing the national/country Trade Marketing Strategy and BTL implementation guidelines in key retail trade channels, Distributor shops and company owned stores.
• Responsible for general Trade Visibility management & execution
• Lead the development of department’s analytics. Support the S&D and Regional Teams with insights and analytics to guide execution to deliver business growth
• Proactively lead in driving and consolidating innovation in the overall S&D structure
• Apply industry, consumer, competitive and internal research data and translate findings to impact business
• Manage the development of methodologies and reports to effectively analyze results and performance against KPIs and share key insights
• Responsible for driving end to end flawless implementation and trade campaign execution
• Partner with Product/Marketing teams to collaboratively develop and execute business plans to achieve incremental business growth
• Support regional markets by developing region-specific support schemes
• Partner with internal and external teams to develop BTL materials/assets and to ensure consistency in message and branding across all markets and distribution channels.
• Analyze BTL and trade related promotional programs effectiveness through sales data & communications with the field; make strategic recommendations to optimize resources and ROI
• Manage Trade Marketing budget to ensure effective budget management and optimize resource allocation to achieve profitable growth
• Contribute to the allocation of Trade Marketing funds to appropriately support brand, market and key account priorities in a way that optimizes ROI.
• Manage S&D vendor relationship with IT/Supply Chain

Qualification Required & Experience

• A First degree in Marketing/Sales/Administration/ Supply Chain or a related field. A Postgraduate Degree is a plus

Experience

• 8 years’ relevant experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role

• Strong knowledge of Sales principles
• Knowledge in Analytics - Utilize data/insights & experience to make fact based decisions.
• Strong financial knowledge
• Good knowledge of Supply Chain Management
• Administrative management – to ensure quality & timeliness, accurate & timely reports, projects trends & builds forecasts.
• Good Knowledge of Stakeholder Management
• Strategy Implementation - A sense of purpose & scope – Knows what must be done and how. Draw plans which take care of obstacles. Hold check points & debriefs daily.
