A fastest growing real estate company in Accra have vacancy for: Site Supervisors

Duties include:

• Assist site engineer in planning the project
• Assist site engineer in creating schedule for specific works, construction phase and the who project
• Support the site engineer in hiring contractors and choosing suppliers for the project
• Supervise construction projects to make sure they meet technical specification
• Ensure that construction projects are completed within plan cost and time
• Keep accurate records of materials and labour consumed for the project
• Monitor the progress of construction workers and subcontractors on behalf of the project manager
• Convey information about the progress fo project and the performance of contractors to the project manager
• Assist site engineer in preparing reports to be submitted to stakeholders
• Assist site engineer in the procurement of certain materials
• Assist site engineer in hiring and assigning tasks to labourers
• Educate site workers on safety procedures to be adopted at the site and make sure they adhere to it
• Assist the site engineer in drawing up contracts for acquired workers
• Any other responsibility and duty specify by the project and/or stakeholders

Qualification Required & Experience

• First Degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering or Architecture
• 5 years experience as site supervisor

Skills and Required Abilities include:

• Detail-oriented problem solver with the ability to meet deadlines and work with various personality types
• Using organisational skills to build teams for the completion of project task
• Understand how construction equipment works for inspection, operation/maintenance
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Work outside in all elements and be in good physical condition
• Understanding building codes, safety requirements and regulations address construction
• Addressing safety and other worksite concerns and issues with labourers and foremen
