Job Summary:
Provide support in data mining and analysis of product/services and quality control plans to identify improvements and assist in conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and insight into trends.
Job Role
• Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
• Assist with data mining on mobile money products and services to guide decision making.
• Develop data models to optimize product analysis efficiency and quality.
• Provide support in identifying, analysing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Support in performing data quality assurance and assessment to locate and correct negative trends.
• Assist in preparing statutory and management reports.

Qualification Required & Experience
Education
• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
• Certificate in Database Management (MySQL, Oracle) a plus
Experience
• At least 2 years’ experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, BIB etc), databases (SQL, ORACLE etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
• Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
Professional competencies
• Knowledge of statistics and using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
• Knowledge of data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Microsoft word and Excel
• SQL, SPSS, SAS etc
• ORACLE
