Purpose of Job:

• Responsible for service Desk / Help Desk Support Management. The position holder assists the Finance Manager in the implementation of group IT policies and strategies and to ensure compliance of users of IT services is adhered to all the time.

Key Responsibilities

• Service Desk / Help Desk Support Management where USD shall be used as the logging Management system
• Maintenance and Servicing of Laptop and Desktop Computers
• Responsible for providing support to end-users by installing software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolves software related problems
• Lotus notes application support (replication, database links, archiving)
• Support problems such as PCs remotely, network connectivity and internet connectivity
• Responsible for troubleshooting following standard operating procedures and work with emails and phone calls on a priority basis
• Microsoft office 365 (outlook mail) support
• Assist with Backup Management
• IBM Servers Support
• Support For video/Audio conferences Services
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed
• Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required
• Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, design and implementation
• Prove experience with network capacity planning, network security principles and general network management best practices
• Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information
• Support for cisco equipment's (Routers, switches and wireless access point's)

Qualification Required & Experience

• 1st Degree in information Technology / Electronic Studies or Computer Science
• Must have completed National Service and at least 2 years experience in a similar role
• Must have ITIL foundation certificate
• Must have an appreciable knowledge of CISCO Network Design/Implementation/Support
