Job Vacancy For Team Lead – Marketing & Business Development



We are a reputable Equity Investment Firm currently into Finance, Hospitality, Logistics, Real Estates, Property Management, Security Services and Trade.

We are seeking to find suitable persons with an excellent track record for the following position within the Group

•   Job Title:  Team Lead- Marketing & Business Development
•   Department:  Business Creation
•   Reports Directly:  General Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities associated with this position will include:

•   Analyse and identify potential growth opportunities in the market
•   Maximise business opportunities, through monitoring  of trends in the market
•   Provide input in the development of the business growth strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics factors
•   Conduct market research to identify potential markets and opportunities
•   Sharing of business intelligence gathered across The Group
•   Keeps management appraised of the status of business development initiatives
•   Assist with preparation of costing, budget, research, and analytical support to business development management.
•   Establish and maintain Business Development plan based on the needs of the business and market segmentation.
•   Acquires competitive and market intelligence as a basis to generate reports and analysis for presentation to management.
•   Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and relevant associations in the industry
•   Track and report on performance against agreed development / growth initiatives.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Economics
•   Minimum of Five (5) years work experience in a related capacity
•   Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint mandatory)

Other Skills:

•   Proven track record in sales, business development and winning of new business
•   Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads
•   Show an understanding of the challenges facing the industry at present and illustrate a knowledge of the operational attention to detail that will be required to succeed within the industry
•   A good grasp of how business processes evolve
•   Entrepreneurial attitude
•   Plenty of initiative
•   Ability to work independently and think outside the box.
•   Excellent financial and analytical skills
