A reputable financial institution seeks to recruit a committed and hardworking individual for the position of a Transport Manager

Responsibilities:

•   Develop systems and procedures for efficient and cost effective delivery of transport services
•   Prepare the annual budget and action plan for the management of transport services
•   Advise Management on the implementation of policies for acquisition, usage and disposal of vehicle
•   Design and implement vehicle maintenance programs for the institution
•   Prepare and submit the monthly repairs and running cost of each vehicle to user departments
•   Prepare staff fuel cost for the attention of Line Managers
•   Ensure the availability of adequate supply of spare parts / fuel / lubricants
•   Manage the day-to-day running of the transport Unit

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Advanced Diploma in Transport Management
•   At least five (5) years working in fleet and workshop management
•   Knowledge of the management of vehicles
•   Strong inter-personal and net working skills

•   Good presentation skills
•   Networking skills
•   Must be computer literate-conversant with basic word processing and spreadsheets
