A private medical laboratory – Sochibga Medical Laboratory, located at Madina New Road, Accra, is currently looking for suitable candidates to fill the following vacancies:

•   Job Title: Ultrasound Technician/Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
•   Job Location: Madina, Accra

Job Summary

•   Responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment
•   Performing and communicating results using sonography
•   Perform analyses of sonograms, synthesize sonographic information and communicates findings to the appropriate physician
•   Responsible for the daily maintenance of sonographic laboratory
•   Establish and maintain ethical working relationships and good rapport with clients, interrelating hospitals/clinics, referral or commercial agencies
•   Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must possess a certificate in Ultrasound Technology or Medical Sonography from a recognized institution
•   Two or more years post-qualification experience in a medical laboratory setting
•   Ability to communicate and relate well with clients and other staff
•   Able to multi-task within the laboratory setting
•   Knowledge of computer applications will be an advantage
