Project Background:
The ACET Youth Employment and Skills (YES) team is seeking to recruit a National Service Personnel who will support the department’s day-to-day program implementation, coordinate logistics for events and meetings, manage digital content and knowledge resources, and provide administrative support.

Job Summary
• The YES work program will broadly focus on providing support in research, analysis, peer learning and policy engagement to the YES team.
Roles and Responsibilities
Specifically, the National Service Personnel will:-
• Work closely with ACET’s Youth Employment and Skills (YES) program to: conduct desk research and compile information on youth employment, education, TVET, skills development, and labor market trends to support program implementation, policy analysis, and knowledge products.
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, briefs, routine correspondence, and other programme documentation, while supporting knowledge management and records management activities.
• Support the day-to-day management of the YES-PACT Portal by creating and organizing content, maintaining knowledge resources, monitoring user engagement, and supporting content dissemination.
• Support the planning and coordination of YES events, meetings, workshops, stakeholder engagements, and other departmental initiatives, including preparing meeting materials, documenting proceedings, and liaising with ACET’s Communications and Events teams.
• Assist the Program Assistant in maintaining the YES Team Tracker by updating work plans, monitoring deliverables, following up on action items, and supporting overall programme coordination.
• Assist in coordinating the ACET Youth Wider Engagement, including participant engagement, communications, scheduling, logistics, documentation, and other implementation activities.
• Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned from time to time in support of ACET’s mission and the objectives of the Youth Employment and Skills program.
Qualification Required & Experience
Education/Experience
• Candidates should have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Candidates should possess excellent research and writing skills. Special consideration is given to experience in research, data collection, analysis, and report writing .
• Candidates should excel in team environments, be comfortable working with limited oversight, and possess outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Candidates should be able to learn quickly, adapt to new concepts, work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Candidates should possess strong interest in youth employment, skills development, education, labor market issues, economic transformation.
