Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate Account / Relationship Manager (preferably female) who will ensure the long-erm success of our Key Accounts.

•   You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
•   You will liaise between our clients and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to our client’s needs.

You Job Description will include but not be limited to:

•   Managing and growing a portfolio of accounts
•   Engaging in project management duties
•   Proposal writing and delivering presentations
•   Attending meetings with clients
•   Maintaining good relationships with clients

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Tertiary degree in Social Science, Humanities, International Relations or similar field
•   Demonstrated advanced ability to communicate in English effectively, both orally and in writing Communication in a foreign language would be an added advantage
•   High-Level organizational and coordination skills. Prioritize, meet deadlines and contribute effectively to work objectives, pro-actively identify issues of relevance, anticipate problems and suggest solutions
•   Experience in managing or coordinating events and functions, including preparation of budgets, liaising and negotiating with service providers prior to the event, managing all aspects of the event on the day
•   Experienced in managing brand activations, network communication, client survey, advertising etc.
•   Demonstrated computer skills, (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and database management experience
•   Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team. Ability to conduct business effectively with a range of clients, including senior representatives in the public and private sectors
•   Willingness to undertake other duties as directed

The Opportunity

The Accountant will serve as the financial controller and will report directly to the Managing Director. The position is a key appointment for the organization and will be accountable for the Accounting Operations of the company. Responsibilities will include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or international Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Responsibilities

•   Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
•   Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives
•   Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner and that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
•   Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly, process payroll in a timely manner, and ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed
•   Maintain the chart of accounts, an orderly accounting filling system and controls over accounting transactions
•   Ensure that all contractual obligations of the company towards its clients and customers are met
•   Issue timely and complete financial statements
•   Coordinate the preparation of the company annual report and recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of the company operations
•   Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
•   Provide for a system of management cost reports and financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions and contract negotiations
•   Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
•   Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants
•   Comply with government reporting requirement and tax filing.
•   Knowledge of general insurance principles, law and regulations pertaining to the health insurance industry in Ghana
•   Ability to create a vision and an environment that inspires the team to achieve outstanding business results
•   Demonstrate excellence in execution: P&L management, cost contro, driving for business result, entrepreneurship at the company level

Qualification Required & Experience
