Responsibilities and Duties

•   Coordinate the financial details of all operational plans undertaken by the company with a view to ensuring the optimum use and strategic application of the company’s financial and material resources in the pursuit of its overall long-term goals
•   Design, implement and enhance a system of Financial Accounting that would ensure the complete recording, analysis, reporting and presentation of all transaction incidental to the implantation of operation in the country
•   Design and establish a sound and efficient system of internal controls to ensure the integrity and accountability of company’s financial administration procedures
•   coordinates all financial and related activities of all branches
•   Manage the financial and accounting system to ensure compliance with Global standards and international Accounting Standards or GAAPS
•   Plan and prepare budgets for the implementation of operation at the various branch offices following the approval of the Board of Directors
•   Perform periodic review of budgets and Actual
•   Provide technical assistance in financial management and administration to all affiliate companies
•   Design an efficient and comprehensive system of financial reporting at all
•   Review Monthly financial reports including consolidated reports and individual Branch Office reports for submission to the Board of Directors
•   Provide training and/or contract the training services for finance for office staff
•   Manage the procedurement and maintenance of supplies and equipment.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, and a Member of a recognized Accounting Body (ACCA, CA, CPA)
•   Minimum of 6 years of office work experience, and strategic management level with similar or related international company superior oral and written communication skills in English, plus oral and fluency in French

The Regional Manager is responsible for the management, administration and efficient operation of full service branches within his or her assigned region or hub including operations, lending, product sales, Deposit Mobilization and Investments, customer service, and security and safety in accordance with our corporate objectives. He/She will:

•   Develop new deposit and loan business
•   Provide a superior level of customer relations
•   Promote the sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation

•   Monitor the repayment of loans by clients and in conjuction with Finance Department to ensure that the accounting system is updated with any repayments received and also of cheques dishonored
•   Review and Submit weekly/monthly financial reports to the CEO on the status of Deposits portfolio
•   Provide strategic leadership, training, supervision and conduct group level Monthly Performance Reviews, and supervise duties of branch and managerial staff and coordinating managerial staff coverage within his or her hub
•   Responsible for attaining established region and corporate goals through active participation in sales management and officer call programs
•   Any other responsibilities as maybe assigned from time to time

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A very good degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, Credit Management and a member or a recognized professional accounting body
•   A masters degree will be an added advantage
•   At least 6 years practical work experience at management level in a financial or banking institution
Good leadership skills, must have drive and passion to achieve, be innovative and demonstrate high level initiative and integrity

2) A Policy Facility to provide evidence, analysis and advocacy for policy and regulatory reform.

The Project will be based in Accra, Ghana with travel to Burkina Faso, Niger and Nigeria. Anticipated Start Date – October 2013

The QED Group is seeking a Finance & Administration (F&A) Manager for anticipated work on the five–year Evaluate for Health project for USAID/Ghana.  The purpose of this project is to establish a mechanism to support USAID/Ghana in strengthening M&E practices in three core areas; Evaluation Studies and Assessments, Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Assistance, and Strengthening Local Capacity for Research Management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•   Manage and maintain accounting and finance records in accordance with USAID regulations and QED corporate policies, and monitor project accounts.
•   Ensure that project expenditures are within established budget parameters and confirm completion of corresponding documentation.
•   Responsible for preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
•   Tracking the transfer of funds between the headquarters office and field office.
•   Provide day-to-day management of the systems for financial transactions in Jordan.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Ghanaian citizenship required.
