•   Regularly conduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Tests on the bank’s systems to ensure that all vulnerabilities are fixed
•   Review SLA or contract with network service providers and ensure penalties are applied
•   Monitor network availability and recommend ways to minimize network downtimes
•   Review systems on the network to ensure that security fixes and patches are promptly applied by IT.
•   Assist in network forensics
•   Bank wide inspection of IT facilities  or infrastructure
•   Review the configurations of all off-the-shelf and internally developed softwares used in the bank to ensure that they adhere to best security practices

SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

•   Should have knowledge of business continuity planning, IT auditing, and risk management
•   Must have a solid overall understanding of information technology and information security practices and trends
•   Experience with Juniper and Cisco security technologies.
•   Experience with security and networking architecture, networking protocols, network security design, routers, wireless security, intrusion prevention/detection, firewall architecture, SIEM, encryption, investigations, forensics, and incident response management
