Duties and Responsibilities

•   Handle complaints against the Group and any associated legal and regulatory issues.
•   Carry out any other assignments given by General Counsel from time to time.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   LLB (Hons) from a recognized University and BL
•   Must have been called to the Ghana Bar for a period of at least three to five years.

Competencies:

•   Must have experience in civil litigation and court room practice
•   Must have sound knowledge of the Ghana Companies Code
•   Must have a great command of the English language and good writing skills
•   Must have good working knowledge of the Ghana Securities Industry and its related laws and regulations.  Completion of the Ghana Stock Exchange courses will be an advantage.
•   Must be computer literate

•   Liaise on instruction with media, in order to get Company’s press releases published.
•   Assist Top Management in the definition of Public Relations materials and gifts and ensure their proper distribution; participate in the preparation and control of budget of Public Affairs activities. Keep abreast of current affairs generally, paying particular attention to news items of interest to the Company, major socio-political events in the country as well as Oil Companies activities. Ensure spread of information within the Company through reports, internal communication etc.
