Job Summary

Under the guidance of the Regional Coordinator, the M&E Specialist will collect, track, and analyze data for the project, in collaboration with Ghana Health Service staff and partners in the region. He/she will be responsible for contributing to required reports and ensuring both the validity and the quality of data collected. He/she will carry out responsibilities in accordance with the USAID-approved Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP).

Major Duties and Responsibilities

•   Provide support to the implementation of the project’s PMP.
•   Support improved data collection, analysis, and use of data by Ghana Health Service, USAID, and local partners, including support to surveillance systems and the use of data for timely and effective decision making and planning.
•   Build the skills of, and support partners in M&E procedures so that data is generated in a uniform manner and partners understand the meaning of indicators upon which data is collected.
•   Support regular data collection, conduct analyses, and prepare reports.
•   Verify validity and quality of monitoring data from the field, including use in reports on performance.
•   Contribute to the preparation of quarterly performance reports with program staff and partners.
•   Participate in and support the project implementation team’s documentation and dissemination of lessons learned and best practices.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Master’s degree in public health or related field

The Judicial Service of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the following vacant positions in the Judicial Service Clinic at the Law Court Complex

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

•   Works as a member of the medical team in providing care as well as monitoring and evaluating patients/clients.
•   Collaborates with other disciplines and healthcare staff to ensure optimum care for clients/patients and also participate in quality improvement activities.
•   Ensures optimum care for clients/patients and also participate in quality improvement activities.
•   Provides out-patients care and referrals as appropriate;
•   Provides emergency care and referrals as appropriate.
•   Assesses and implements management plans for patients.
•   Assists/performs basic surgical operations/clinical procedures within competency.
•   Provides support and information to patients/relatives as and when necessary.
•   Performs bedside investigations such as RBS, FBS, and urine Analysis.
•   Conducts/participates in:
•   Ward rounds
•   Clinical meetings
•   General staff meetings etc.
•   Records patients’ care and management packages

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Minimum of a BSc. in Physician Assistance from an accredited programme or its equivalent.
•   Must be in good standing with the Medical and Dental Council of Ghana
•   Must possess experience in Family Medicine /Public Health
•   Must possess good medical diagnostic abilities
•   Must be Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Access
•   Must have good oral and written communication skills
•   Must have completed National Service
•   Minimum of three (3) years post qualification working experience
