Description Of Job

The position of the Director of Administration has become vacant and the Board of Directors invite applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the position.

Contract Term: This is a four-year renewable position

The successful candidate will report to the Chief Administrator and be responsible for the following:-

•  Coordinate administrative and support services of the Hospital
•  Take a lead role in the development and implementation of Board and Management policies and guidelines for effective and efficient support services
•  Manage the day-to-day activities of the Central Administration in consultation with the Chief Administrator

Qualification Required & Experience

Applicant must have a first Degree in Social Sciences or Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Management Option) or in a relevant field. Seven (7) years working experience at a level of senior managerial position with evidence of leadership and continuous professional development.

•  Training in management will be an added advantage
•  Applicant must be a member of a recognised management body
•  Applicant should have at least ten (10) years working experience and should be able to complete at least one term in office before retirement
