•  Carry out the perfection of title to the Bank’s properties and that of Customers
•  Verify authenticity of title documents with relevant institutions/bodies and ensure ensure that the title documents constitute good security document
•  Apply for, follow up of, and obtain the requisite consent to mortgage from  relevant institutions/bodies to facilitate the Bank’s mortgage over properties
•  Complete all relevant forms with the Land Valuation Board, monitor the processing and ensure that the relevant provisions of the Stamp Act, are applied in assessing Stamp Duty charges while ensuring that all Mortgage Deeds are duly registered at the Lands Commission and the Land Title Registry
•  Perfect charges over customers’ assets in compliance with provision of Companies Act (Act 179), monitor the processing and ensure that the Certificate of Registration is issued by Registrar of Companies within the stipulated time frame

Qualification Required & Experience

Competencies & Qualifications:

•  A good first degree in any discipline or its equivalent professional qualification with at least 3 years experience in dealing with the Lands Commission, the Land Title Registry and the Land Valuation Board
•  A team player with strong networking skills and detailed knowledge of procedures on perfection of security documents
•  A high sense of integrity with good knowledge about laws governing land acquisition, registration, administration, mortgages, etc

Description Of Job

The Job Holder is reponsible for the delivery of Cress fit-out and construction projects, providing best in class construction project management capability to the Bank working in collaboration with approved consultants, advisors and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

•  Detemine & manage relevant resources to deliver project workload, including alignment across SCB CRES functional workstreams (Finance, PMM, Security, Workplace Effectiveness, OHS & E, FM, Asset Management, IT etc)
•  Provide regular country project portfolio reports to functional regional leads, using SCB standard formats
•  Manage business expectations prior to project approval to ensure alignment with Bank Real Estate Strategies
•  Manage successful delivery of projects to a pre-determined brief, budget, programme and SCB specifications.
