REQUIREMENT(S):

The ideal candidate must be able to:

•   Do diagnosis on compressors, advise on and work on compressors.
•   Must be able to read and interprete technical drawings/diagrams on/of compressors
•   Must have the ability to identify the right target markets and clients.
•   Must be able to do prospecting, marketing, and offer services in addition to giving pre-sales, sales and after sales technical advice.
•   The ideal person must have marketing planning, excellent report writing and presentation skills in order to develop and present comprehensive periodic marketing and service strategy reports.
•   Must be able to devise and follow a routine schedule of visits to clients and end users.
•   The ideal person must possess a valid driving license and he/she must be a good driver. The person will be required to travel long distances as and when the need arises.
•   Must have vast knowledge of compressors.
•   A very good knowledge of lngersoll Rand compressors will be a great advantage (*) Must be a team player, proactive, curious and dutiful.
•   Will report directly to the Managing Director.
•   Will perform any other duty assigned.

Qualification Required & Experience  

•   The ideal candidate must be at least an Engineering HND holder or its equivalent.
•   Additional training in Compressors will give the person an edge.

•   Responsible for all jobs requiring the use of lift truck
•   Submit daily report on plant water consumption
•   Responsible for condition monitoring of harbour dust plant and all equipment during clinker discharge
•   Periodic maintenance of plant machinery
•   Submit daily report on compressors and its related equipment
•   Submit daily report on condition monitoring of transformers
•   Submit weekly SPM and SKF machine condition advisory monitoring
•   Follow up and give updates on reported monitoring and inspection jobs
•   Maintain professional healthy relationships with third party support companies and undertake requested jobs from superiors
•    Shall be liable and responsible for strict adherence to all EHS policies and procedures, which is a shared responsibility for all employees

•   Education: Must possess HND certificate with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, or METIII with 5 year’ experience

Job Summary:

•   Maintain, Monitor and calibrate all process control transducers and measuring instruments in the Plant and Jetty
•   Perform preventive maintenance on all Process Control Transducers
•   Periodically verify and calibrate all Process Control Transducers
•   Carry out troubleshooting of all electrical faults and resolves them quickly
•   Liaise with other sections/departments to ensure optimum running of the Plant
•   Close all work orders after the execution of all jobs
•   Adhere and comply with ail Environmental, Health and Safety regulations of the company
•   Any other jobs that may be assigned by the departmental supervisors
•   Ensure the integrity of all telephone and portable radio communication equipment in the Plant
•   Shall be liable and responsible for strict adherence to ail EHS policies and procedures which is a shared responsibility for all employees

•   Education: Must possess HND in Electrical/Electronic engineering with minimum of 2 years’ experience, or EETIII with 5 years experience.
