This successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the human resource management and administrative function within the organisation and ensure the HR departmental measurement supports the accomplishment of the company’s strategic goals.

Key Tasks will include:

•   Managing and co-coordinating all aspects of the Human Resource Function
•   Developing and implementing effective manpower strategies that would improve people management and promote general oragnisational effectiveness
•   Developing and implementing HR Policies and procedures
•   Handling the recruitment and selection, training and development processes
•   Handling board training and issues related to the Board of the Fund
•   Designing and ensuring successful implementation of performance management and appraisals
•   Handling procurement and logistics and general administrative function
•   Handling industrial relations practices and procedures as well as managing grievance, discipline, employee welfare and health issues

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A minimum of a good first degree in Business Administration plus a degree in Human Resource Management, industrial or labour relations / or professional qualification in a related field
•   Must have broad knowledge in the labour laws of Ghana
•   Must be experienced in organisational planning, organisation development, employee relations, safety and training and development
•   Should have (5) years relevant post qualification experience, of which three (3) years must be at a senior level
•   Excellent computer skills
•   Report writing skills are essential
•   Good interpersonal skills and ability to relate to all manner of people

Job Purpose:

Responsibilities / Key Objectives:

•   Provides support to the Resourcing, Development and Talent Manager in developing the business strategic learning and development plan and budget for TGL

•   Prepares all documentation for effective calibration process
•   Establishes and maintains a functional library
•   Builds relationships with Educational institutions
•   Manages the National Service intakes into TGL
•   Develops, implements, monitors and evaluates induction programme
•   Manages the Scholarship awards by the company in conjunction with British Council
•   Manages the performance management expertise function.  Coaches, briefs leaders on the principles and execution via HR Advisors.
•   Thought leadership on Learning & Development
•   Other duties as may be assigned to you from time to time

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Minimum of Bachelors degree in HR from a reputable University.
•   A Professional qualification in HR practice from a recognized professional HR body- IHRMP, CIPD, SHRM, SPHR, CHRP, etc will be an added advantage.

Skills & Experience:

•   minimum six (6) years learning and development management experience of which at least two (4) years should have been in a multinational organization and preferably with O&G industry experience
•   Ability to network with and influence people at all levels, within and outside the organization
•   Ability to facilitate sessions,
•   Ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization
•   Ability to write excellent reports
•   Ability to competently use Microsoft office applications

Job Purpose:

Own the end to end Resourcing process

Partner with HRBP’s and hiring managers to resource and recruit for staff and contractor roles and to meet Tullow’s hiring requirements.

Responsibilities / Key Objectives:

•   Responsible for the lifecycle of the recruiting process (attraction through to offer acceptance) using company recruitment strategies, processes and policies to support hiring talent into the business in an efficient and effective way;
•   Keep up to date with developments and trends in the market and new initiatives in the recruitment field;
•   Talent Pipeline candidates in Ghana and aboard
•   Produce monthly, quarterly reports on talent pipeline.
•   Develop good working relationships with HR Operations and line managers in individual portfolio, PSL agencies and other external service providers;

•   Decide best recruitment channels for each role and post positions accordingly on internal / external career sites, job boards, with agencies etc.
•   As necessary undertake direct sourcing activities to identify active and passive candidates to include internal database interrogation, searching of job boards, utilizing social media (LinkedIn, etc) attending recruitment events, career fairs, encouraging referrals, etc
•   Screen candidates via first interviews in order to assess their potential for hire and referral to the next stage in the recruitment process agreed with Hiring managers and HR Operations.
•   Advise on suitability for recruitment, appropriate reward package and negotiate /support offer process with candidates / agencies.  Ensure regular reporting of pipeline/ recruitment activity, including metrics, to the appropriate stakeholders in the business and HR Operations.
•   Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant employment law, search and selection skills and techniques and make recommendations for updates in recruitment policies and procedures as necessary;
•   Develop, create and work with line managers/HR Operations to systematically follow all processes and procedures associated with the recruitment process;

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Typically requires a BA/ BS degree, preferably with emphasis in HR or Business.

Skills and experience:

•   Ideally generalist HR experience with a minimum of 3 years recruitment experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry;
•   Experience as an in-house Recruiter is preferred or within a technical environment
•   Solid and proven experience in internal/ external search and / agency recruiting within the O&G industry will be considered
•   Demonstrated experience in building candidate pipelines through direct sourcing
•   Demonstrated skills and experience in working with all levels of company management to manage lifecycle recruiting for companies
•   Significant experience with candidate screening, interviewing and managing the offer process.
•   Strong experience with Professional / Social Media/ Job boards, the utilisation of company referral programs and networking to achieve recruiting results.
•   Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking systems and HRIS systems highly desirable. Experience of running and managing recruitment campaigns including advertising writing & designKnowledge of various assessment tools; psychometric testing, case study & presentation assessments etc.
