Job Summary

•   Assist in the development and implementation of employees engagement system and strategies to promote effective communication between management and employees:
•   Conduct surveys and research on workers remuneration, labor negotiations, HR policies and procedures, employee retention schemes and make recommendations for implementation as necessary..
•   Educate workers regularly on company policies and procedures and workers Collective Agreements;
•   Coordinate employee disciplinary process and grievances handling:
•   Ensure employee disciplinary issues are fairly and consistently implemented and m accordance with workers condition of service a cross all department;
•   Recommend for implementation, sustainable employee welfare schemes and work -life balance interventions;
•   Liaise with unions, labor departments and Ghana Labor Commission on employee- related matter;
•   Liaise with the labour department on Workman compensation and other claims;
•   Assist with other general HR assignments;
•   Perform any other related duties assigned from time to time by the Unit Manager.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Good temperament and ability to handle conflict, confrontation and disagreement;
•   Ability to establish and maintain an efficient disciplinary investigative mechanism that is fair and
•   transparent;
•   Good report and minutes writing skills;
•   Good computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point;
•   Well developed oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with people of diverse
•   cultures and levels;
•   A valid and current light duty vehicle license and proficiency in driving light vehicles.

Job Summary

•   Provide technical inputs in the formulation and regular review of training and development policies and procedures;
•   Monitor application of training and development policies to ensure they are applied fairly and consistently throughout the operations.
•   Implement and help improve a talent management system for the company to ensure pipeline availability of skills;              •   Work with line managers on career development programs for key staff and follow up regularly to ensure that such programs are on track.
•   Develop and implement a system for evaluating the effectiveness of training and development programs;
•   Assist in job redesign and targeted organisation development actions;
•   Identify and propose management development programs that can support the agreed capability development strategy;
•   Work with line managers to identify gaps in employee capabilities and propose training programs to help    lose these capability gaps;

•   Apply the performance management system to ensure its efficient and consistent use and coach line managers in how to apply in their areas;

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Degree in HRM/HRD or relevant Social Science Certificate;
•   A minimum of 6 years working experience in similar position, 2 of which must be in managerial position; Experience in the gold mining industry is an added advantage;
•   Ability to design and facilitate training events and organize programmes:
•   Ability to prepare training budgets and monitor their execution;
•   Excellent coaching and mentoring experience,
•   Very good knowledge of HRD systems and principles:
•   Organisational development experience with good presentation skills;
•   Ability to design HRD systems e.g. training needs identification, training evaluation, career development,
•   Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Power Point, Audio Visuals/digital projectors);
•   Well-developed oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with people of diverse cultures and levels:

Job Summary

•   Carry out 2nd & 3rd line maintenance by coordinating, monitoring, inspecting and delivery of planned pumps services and overhauls, hydraulic cylinders overhauls. Overhaul and repairs of industrial gearboxes, installation of pumps, alignments of drive units and pumps, fabrication of spares, conveyor pulleys overhauls, steel erection;
•   Diagnose causes of defects and determine specific action;
•   Develop, implement and maintain quality standards;
•   Manage and monitor ordering of spares from internal stores through laid down procedure;
•   Oversee work of contractors during shutdowns, ensuring compliance with rules and procedures for undertaking specific work;
•   Implements & monitors improvement initiatives while identifying inefficiencies and recommending corrective actions;
•   Prepare and present weekly maintenance and expenditure report, highlighting variances to the Section Manager and advising on various ways of reducing cost;
•   Monitor crew members adherence to laid down SHEQ rules and procedures throughout the working day, and taking appropriate remedial action in case of non compliance;
•   Review performance and Provide technical guidance and coaching to staff, and recommend appropriate training;

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputable institution;
•   Trades qualification will be an added advantage;
•   Minimum of five (5} years’ post qualification work experience in a similar position three (3) of which should have been in the mining industry;
•   A valid Ghanaian driver’s license will be advantageous;
•   Well developed oral and written communication skills;
•   Excellent Mechanical diagnostic and repair skills;
•   Excellent Planning, Organizing and report writing skills;
•   Quality control, critical thinking and Analytical skills
