Job Summary

•  He must have at least one year experience in similar roles.
•  Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.
•  Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities will include:

Role Specific Requirements:

•  Prepare a comprehensive plant maintenance policy and closely monitor its execution.
•  Directly supervise overall plant functioning and performance to minimize production downtime through breakdowns.

•  Develop a workable raw material draw down program in consultation with his line managers to ensure consistency in workflow and productivity.
•  Adequate advance notices to management on spare part requirements and spares held on hand in stock.
•  Directly crosscheck raw material requisitions against job orders and monitor waste with all jobs executed
•  Liaise with the storekeeper in prompt requisitioning of raw materials held both on site and at bonded warehouses.
•  Assist in the promotion of cost efficiency, productivity, total quality, and maximum security
•  Close evaluation of materials issued for production and output from production, paying particular attention to waste.
•  Determine detailed parameters and guides for accurate measurement of raw materials per job or product type

Scope:
The Head of Engineering will lead a team of technicians (Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronic) to ensure uninterrupted operation of all Pharmaceutical machines and utilities. Responsibilities:

•  Execute cost reduction and productivity improvement projects
•  Conduct training for operations maintenance personnel. Maintain knowledge of cGMPs, safety practices and environmental standards among the team members

•  Responsible for design, budgeting and execution of small to medium engineering projects
