Job Vacancy For RF Optimisation Supervisor At Tigo

Role Purpose

To issue and enforce optimisation strategies, in order to deliver  and maintain a high quality radio network

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Optimization
Deliver excellent quality network and ensure that all KPIs are always within their target benchmarks (2G/3G).
Research into features and new optimisation strategies that will lead to quality radio network delivery Cluster KPIs
Overall network KPIs
Cluster POA

2. Cluster KPIs ownership
To take ownership of KPI’s of all the cluster. Perform RF parameter optimization, radio features and prepare performance monitoring report.

•   Improvement of radio network performance by adopting the right approach.
•   Network performance statistic data analysis, drive test data analysis, signal tracing data analysis and troubleshooting to improve network performance.
•   Technical support on RNP&O issues and communication with internal customers.
•   Daily 2G/3G optimization based on RNO Tools-MRR,NCS,WNCS,UTR,GPEH,FAS
•   Capacity and Coverage dimensioning for 2G/3G Network
•   KPI definition and management, Create/Customize 2G/3G BO/Optima report templates
•   WCDMA Features Activation and Parameters tuning Cluster KPIs
•   Cluster POA

POA on congested/low utilization sites, CE utilisations, HS, EUL codes blockings

3. Drive test & Benchmarking reports and analysis

To analyze drive test results and to generate reports with recommendations and actions.
To secure quality benchmarking activities. Drive Test Database  reports
Benchmarking reports

4. Customer Complaints

Lead the team in Co-ordinating with Strategic Quality to resolve customer complaints, to propose and to implement actions to improve network quality and coverage.
User Complaints Report

5. Planning

•   Assist the planning/projects teams with placement of new sites.
•   Design radio Site network for capacity and coverage.
•   To prepare, perform, analyze and present network interference studies. Nominal plan
•   Frequency plan
•   Interference report

•   INTERNAL: Planning and Radio Network Engineering, Operations, NOC and Rollout departments

Qualification Required & Experience

Knowledge

•   GSM & UMTS, cellular technologies, radio planning, cellular optimization, statistics management, drive testing, optimization and planning tools.

Skills

•   GENERIC: Team building, POA follow up
•   JOB SPECIFIC: radio propagation, frequency planning, radio optimization, understanding of radio features (BSS)
•   OTHER REQUIREMENTS: preferred vendor knowledge (Ericsson)

Job Vacancy For Planning Analyst of PMO At Tigo

Role Purpose

Ensure timely process of all CAPITAL and OPERATIONAL transactions from factory to the financial system; helping the Financial Manager to monitor the progress of projects and aiding PMO streamline processes by centralizing CAPEX and OPEX transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Centralised CAPEX

•   Ensure that all CAPEX PRs are raised for FACTORY using the appropriate CAR.
•   Track all PRs raised, following up to ensure that PRs are released on time for project inception.
•   Following up on PO raised; ensuring goods are received and invoice processed.
•   Monitor the completion of projects and ensuring that PAC, FAC& DIC are received on time and copy delivered to Fixed asset for capitalization.
•   Assist Finance Manager at the end of the month to compile all completed projects for accruals.
•   Provide stakeholders with weekly status’ on PRs and POs.

PMO Culture and Change Management

•   Support the implementation of PMO Culture
•   Support all change management activities.
•   Escalate Feedback

Centralised OPEX

•   Raise all PRs and ensure that the appropriate expense account is used.
•   Track all PRs raised, following up to ensure that PRs are released on time.
•   Following up on PO raised; ensuring goods are received and invoice processed.
•   Provide stakeholders with weekly status’ on PRs and POs and accruing all goods received at the end of month.

Complementary Task

•   Collecting and reviewing on a monthly basis; per diems and allowances for drivers and supervisors at the FACTORY, for onward submission to HR.
•   Facilitate the signing of new contract and renewals of expired ones and copies forwarded to the vendors on time.
•   Attending to any other task assigned as and when the need arises.

Qualification Required & Experience

Experience Required: 1-2 Years

Desirable Education: Bachelor

KNOWLEDGE – SKILLS – EXPERIENCE

Knowledge:

•   Cellular Technologies, Project Accounting, Business Administration, and reporting capability

•   Ensure daily, weekly and monthly reports for all trouble tickets are delivered on time.
•   Analyse weekly outages and produce trends to provide visibility on the network availability.

•   Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to the system.
•   To escalate to the relevant team in case the level 1 support is inefficient.

•   Execute of change orders from other departments and ensure all change orders are properly closed and filed
•   Ensure daily A log transfer is dumped appropriately for IT department for compliance
•   To implement all Internal Control related to Fault Management.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   First Degree in Electrical\Computer\Telecom Engineering
•   At least one (1) year work experience in a similar or related field
