Job Vacancy For Churn & Retentions Manager – Customer Value

Role Purpose

The core responsibilities of the Churn and Retentions Manager will encompass the following:

•   Analysing and understanding of all aspects of the customer life cycle, to reduce customer churn;
•   Learning best practices in churn prevention, specifically in the industries of telecom and
•   Implementing programs and changing business rules to accomplish churn reduction.

Key Responsibilities

•   Design and manage the successful implementation of anti-churn offers;
•   Define targets & filters based on ARPU/segment, inactivity, product utilization levels and other relevant criteria for all anti-churn offers.
•   Manage segments on churn subs and ensure a reduction in churn among the High Value base;
•   Manage & update a complete KPI dashboard to track anti-churn program performance;
•   Create and understand segment behavior of churning customers;
•   Analyse reasons customers churn and all associated customer data;
•   Understand existing business rules and operations relating to customer lifecycle and recommend improvements where necessary;
•   Develop and implement retention programs;
•   Stay current on all related industry best practices relating to customer retention and
•   Develop and create detailed visibility reporting on churn metrics and retention program results.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field preferred;
•   Minimum of two (2+) years’ experience in a similar role with demonstrable analytical capabilities;
•   Comprehensive offer design experience, with full knowledge of analytical methodologies and scenario modeling;
•   Exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities;
•   Excellent communication skills;
•   Ability to work under pressure and time constraints;
•   Ability to work effectively with a wide range of cultures in a diverse community. Knowledge of telecom business will be an added advantage.

Role Purpose

•   The successful candidate will be required to plan, dimension and procure transmission network expansions for Millicom Gh. Ltd. (S)he will also be required to maintain updated network details so as to facilitate planning, expansion and optimisation of the Telecommunication network.

Key Responsibilities

•   Transmission database and change management process implementation;
•   Monitoring transmission capacity utilization;
•   Producing, maintaining and implementing a three (3) year transmission expansion plan (including network design, CAPEX forecast, procurement timeline) supporting radio and core expansion plans;
•   Performing all transmission planning activities for radio access and core transmission;
•   Ensuring procurement activities deadlines are met and supporting procurement activities for transmission equipment;
•   Advising on vendor strategy for transmission equipment;
•   Supporting Capital Acquisition Request preparation for all transmission related matters;
•   Implementing standard operating process for leased line commitments;
•   Optimizing transmission plans according to OPEX and CAPEX implications.

Qualification Required & Experience

Position Requirements

•   An Engineering degree in Telecommunication/Electronics. A Master’s degree in Business Administration will be an added advantage;
•   Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Planning, development and implementation of core networks preferably for cellular networks;
•   Good experience in transmission network planning and implementation, cellular technologies and project management;
•   Must have good financial management understanding;
•   Good leadership and communication skills

•   A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. An MBA is desirable;
•   Minimum of three (3) – five (5) relevant years experience in planning (commercial and financial) and analysis in a commercial setting;
